WEEE Directive
What is the EU Battery Directive?
The EU Battery Directive aims to reduce the impact on the environment of the manufacture, distribution, use, disposal and recovery of batteries. If disposed of incorrectly, batteries can pollute our environment.
By recycling your used batteries via dedicated battery collection points you are contributing to protecting our environment and natural resources.
All batteries are labelled with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol to indicate that they should not be disposed of as normal waste.
